Unleashing the Power of Digital Activism
The big campaigns have millions (even billions) to spend on fancy consultants and expensive ad campaigns. But what if you could achieve similar results without breaking the bank? And what if I told you that you could achieve better results because most of them are doing it wrong? This six-week course will give you the tips, tricks, and tools to become an effective digital activist.
Day 1:
Intro to Digital Activism – Learn why most political candidates and consultants are doing it wrong and analyze two case studies of campaigns that got it right. Discover the three key attributes of effective digital activists.
Content Essentials – Content is the fuel for digital activism. In this class, you’ll learn powerful persuasion techniques and master the three content mediums of words, images, and video.
Advertising Essentials – Organic reach will only take you so far. Advertising is the fastest, most efficient means for growing your audience. This class shows how ad campaigns are structured, pro strategies for getting the best results, and an overview of the various platforms.
Day 2:
Social Media – Navigating the shifting winds of social media is challenging. In this session, you’ll understand the pros and cons of various platforms and learn robust strategies and tactics for audience development.
AI Demystified – Wondering how AI can revolutionize your activism efforts? This webinar will demystify AI and explain how to develop an AI-first mindset. We’ll cover the benefits and applications of AI for digital activism, show you some free tools you can use, and cover how to write effective prompts.
Digital Infrastructure – The “digital” part of digital activism requires technology. In this class, you’ll get a crash course in the technology stack: domains, websites, and email.
