Concord – New Hampshire Republican State Committee Chairman Jennifer Horn today released the following statement in honor of Veterans Day:“Today we give thanks to the brave men and women who have put their country before themselves. We are grateful for our veterans’ selfless service to our nation, their courage and their commitment to ensuring that the United States remains the greatest, freest nation on Earth. We extend our warmest wishes and sincerest thanks to the families of all of our veterans for making one of the most difficult sacrifices a family could make. God bless America.”

Republican Budget Becomes Law, Governor Caves on Business Taxes
Republican Majority Votes to Move NH Forward
On Wednesday, House Republicans played a pivotal role in a historic legislative moment when for the first time in recent history, a governor’s veto of a budget was overridden. Without a 2/3 majority in the House (a 2/3 majority vote is needed to override a
veto) Republicans had to rely on an unconventional set of circumstances. Governor
Hassan openly requested members of her own party to override her own veto. By all accounts, this is an unprecedented move on a national or state level, and a very public admission that her veto of the fiscally responsible Republican budget was ill-.advised -

hese are exciting times as we roll into the NH Primary. By the end of the week, 7 of the Republican candidates will have visited Sullivan County. If you would like to meet them, perhaps work for them, and most of all help them succeed both in the Primary, and in the general election… contact us. We have contact information for all the campaigns, advance notice of appearances, etc.We do need help here in Sullivan County. Elections are won and lost by the volunteers who make the phone calls, stand at the polls with signs, and all the rest of the tasks necessary to mount a successful campaign. Be a part of it.
